well hello there

HEY, I have had a LOT of viewers over the times i was not posting.  So now..... HERE ARE TODAY'S FACTS

What on Earth were these people thinking?!

Too Dumb to Be a Thief
The police had no trouble finding this thief. When he used a stolen credit card to buy some cigars, he signed his own name on the receipt. Later he tried to buy some merchandise at a store, but the card came up as stolen. When asked for some identification, he presented his own driver's license.

WERE BACK ONLINE (YESSSSSS)

Hey everyone! If you missed the blog, then miss no more.  I'm BACK!!!! The Fact Files is back online after a HUGE crash on the network.  I will be posting again starting TODAY!!!! Again, sorry for the wait, and once more

IM BAAAAAAAAAAACK

Monday, December 6, 2010

HEY! It's a new week, our SECOND (wait, third?) week on blogger, and the site has gone through a LOT of changes, you can do SO much with blogger, but there are limits to what you can do with ALL the stuff you can do.  As you know, some of the stuff on the tabs aren't working, like the newletter subscription, that's why if you want to subscribe to the posts, just click on the google connect button.

Todays fact is about ducks, why? Because I have a neat video i want to show you that goes with ducks.

Ducks were once wild until they were domesticated by the Chinese many hundreds of years ago.
Ducks keep clean by preening themselves with their beaks, which they do often. They also line their nests with feathers plucked from their chest.
Ducks' feathers are waterproof. There is a special gland that produces oil near the tail that spreads and covers the outer coat of feathers. Beneath this waterproof layer are fluffy and soft feathers to keep the duck warm.
Ducks provide us with eggs, meat and feathers.
Ducks' feet have no nerves or blood vessels. This means ducks never feel the cold, even if they swim in icy cold water.
A duck waddles instead of walking because of its webbed feet.
